Paramagnetix is a tech startup based in the Silicon Valley, that focuses on food safety.  Our group of entrepreneurs and engineers have developed groundbreaking idea to bring Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) from the science labs into a portable battery operated device in the hands to consumers.

Cancer-Causing Free Radicals are present in the food that we eat.

Free radicals are atoms with unpaired electrons. They are unstable and rapidly react with other molecules—a process that damages human cells.

Our product, PortableEPR can identify allergens, pathogens, poisons, and other harmful subjects.

Until now EPR was only available to food scientists in the laboratories. And now, for the first time EPR technology is embedded in PortableEPR a handheld, portable, battery operated device, which can us used by production workers and even consumers. 

 

EPR, in the context of food freshness and safety, is primarily used by Food Scientists to assess the presence of free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can form in food during processes like oxidation, leading to quality deterioration. 

Now for the first time food production workers and consumers can use PortableEPR. to determining the shelf life and quality of the product.
